Gold is a metal that has been held at high and precious every time. There is no history of it loosing its sheen and shine at any point. In simple words, we can say that they are gorgeous looking heavy ones that suits the occasion, the best.
Gold chain is a jewelry that is unisex i.e. both men and women can wear it equivalently. But the only difference is that men prefer to use a simple, thin chain with short length or one with medium thickness while women use all sized and thickness chains.
Another aspect of gold is its various levels of purity. Normally gold is measured in karats and the purest form is 24 karats (k). But it is a true fact that many cannot afford to make jewelry from pure gold. Hence, to make gold affordable for them too, gold jewelry is available in 22k, 18k and 14k purity. This means that other metals like copper and silver are mixed at a given proportion to prepare these jewels brining down the price of the jewelry much lesser.
But whatever the properties and the various views on gold may be, but it is still a highly preferred precious metal by one and all and has a predominant place in the jewelry segment.
